Discover the wild side of Paraty on a full-day hike through the Juatinga Ecological Reserve (REEJ), one of the best-preserved stretches of Atlantic Forest on the Brazilian coast.
Starting from Vila Oratório, your guide leads you along forest trails to Praia do Sono, a long beach known for its fine sand and clear water. From there you continue to Antigos and Antiguinhos, two quiet beaches that feel like private hideaways. The day ends at Galhetas Waterfall, where three natural pools are perfect for a refreshing swim before the walk back.

At the end you can return on foot, or, for an extra fee, take a boat from Ponta Negra to Vila Oratório. You should be comfortable walking for several hours on forest paths with climbs and descents.
The experience starts in the morning and ends by about 6:00 PM. Lunch is not included. You can bring your own snack or add an optional lunch in Ponta Negra.
